Little Beauties

My hydrangeas are in full bloom and I just love them! A couple of years ago, these were part of a plant transplant. I wasn't sure they were going to make it, but each year they have done better and better. This is the first time I have been able to bring them inside.

And these little beauties were sporting some red, white, and blue on Memorial Day. Since this was one of Tim's tennis-free days and I had one more day of school left on Tuesday, we just stayed around home most of the day. In the evening, we had a picnic at the park, and finished with a yummy treat from DQ. One of my favorite days!

On Wednesday night, we attended a tennis banquet for the girls' team. It was a sad night for the team and tennis families as the head coach was unable to be there due to a recent illness, and his retirement as head coach was announced. He had been a coach for 40 years, finishing his career with the most wins in the state!

This video was captured during the Miss USA pageant a little while back, but was too cute not to post. Addison had been watching the swimsuit portion and remarked how the contestants suits were pink like her's. The next thing we knew she had actually changed into her suit and was modeling for us. This girl never ceases to make us laugh!

Oooh, hydrangeas are definitely one of my faves too. Braylee walked up and said, "Aw, Addison is modeling!" :) My girls love to play "pageant."
