Christmas Eve 2009

Our family traditions continued as we celebrated with Tim's family on Christmas Eve. As always, our meal consisted of hot dogs roasted in the fireplace and finger foods. After supper, we opened presents in order from youngest to oldest. It is getting harder and harder for Sydney and her cousin Trista to patiently wait their turn. ; ) There are 5 grandkids on the Swartzentruber side now and they all watch each other open his or her gifts. I love that they take their time and appreciate the gifts received.

A smile from Addison as she waits her turn. Lately, she's been squinting her eyes when you ask her to smile for the camera. Soo cute.

After the presents were opened, we found the girls had set up a "campsite" in Mamaw and Papaw's room. They each got new chairs and sleeping bag sets from Mamaw and Papaw. Now they're set for a sleepover or camping adventure.

We do the youngest to oldest thing at my parents house on Christmas morning. I love it!

We used to do oldest to youngest, but since B knows what is going on we switched it!
