Trip to the hospital

My little Addison underwent surgery this morning to have tubes placed in her ears. She handled the entire process like a rock star. She knew from the moment we walked into the hospital that something was up, but never made a peep. After her id bracelet and gown were on, she spent time playing with her new baby doll and bouncing on the bed. I really couldn't believe she wasn't asking for something to eat. Usually, food is the first thing she wants when she wakes up. The medicine they gave her beforehand really relaxed her and she was able to go with the nurse without any problems. After the surgery, she got upset when we introduced breakfast, but once she figured out what was going on she was able to eat and drink. Within ten minutes of eating, she was back to her old self. Praise the Lord!! I was so amazed with how peaceful and relaxed the experience was. Since being home, she has slept, played, and is talking up a storm. Thank you for your prayers.
