Christmas Eve (party #2)

On Christmas Eve, we spent part of the day putting together last minute gifts, delivering treats to our neighbors, and making cookies for Santa. The latter part of the day was spent at Mamaw and Papaw Swartzentruber's house for Christmas celebration #2. Chistmas Eve is typically dedicated to spending time with Tim's family. . .When Tim and his brother were younger, Mamaw and Papaw started a tradition of roasting hot dogs in the fireplace on Christmas Eve. The tradition still continues with the grandkids. It was so cute to see the kids sitting around Mamaw as the hot dogs were prepared. After we ate, we opened gifts. We all received wonderful gifts. Sydney was particularly excited about her Disney princess alarm clock-she promises me that it will help her get up in the mornings. . .We shall see. Addison loved all of her gifts as well. She especially loved a blanket that was made by Aunt Jenn. She cracked us up as she rolled around in it and played peek-a-boo. At the end of the night, Sydney made sure she set out the cookies for Santa. Then, it was off to bed...
