Father's Day and a birthday in one

This year, Tim had the joy of celebrating both Father's Day and his birthday all in one day.  I think it makes the day extra special, but Tim thinks he loses a day of celebration.  HA! Poor guy!  He started the day with the girls giving him one of his favorites (Mello Yellow) and a new red shirt (his favorite color.)

We went to church and after posed for some pics.

Then,  we made a trip to Jasper for lunch, a stroll on the Riverwalk, a tour of the Mill and an ice cream treat at DQ.  While we were at the Mill, Grammy, Papaw and Elaina met up with us.  Elaina ended up coming home with us for her first sleepover.



And if that wasn't enough, to ensure Daddy had a great day we made him a strawberry pie!  We love this special guy VERY much!!
