Over Christmas break, we had a chance to go roller skating with the fam. Sydney got to try out her skates on an actual rink instead of our drive-way. (The skates were a bday gift from Uncle Jordan.) Her daddy, uncles, and aunt were the only ones brave enough to skate with her. She was pretty cautious as she mostly held on to someone's hand or the wall. However, towards the end of our time, she was venturing out slowly without assistance. I think with a few more visits to the rink, we will have a skater on our hands. On the other hand, others(mainly Tim) came away with bruised hips and a little bruised pride after some legendary hard falls.

Check out that coordination. I wouldn't be surprised if someone was busting a move on their rollerblades to a Black Eyed Peas song.
