Countdown to Christmas

Each year we count down the days to Christmas by completing various activities. Most of the activities are the same from year to year; however, they may not always fall on the same day. It keeps the girls guessing and anxious to complete some of their favorites. It is a simple tradition but one I hope we continue for many years to come.
Some of the activities include the following:
Enjoy a night of popcorn and your favorite Christmas movies.
Look for a special bedtime surprise.
Make snowman pizzas for supper.
Shop for Jubilee gifts.
Pray for those without shelter/food, etc.
Participate in O'Tannenbaum Days downtown.
Make treats for the neighbors.
Find your new ornament hidden in the house.
Call your loved ones and wish them a Merry Christmas.
Have fun participating in the Children's Christmas program at church.
Be creative and make paper snowflakes.
Help Mommy put the finishing touches on the Christmas cards.
Enjoy making a gingerbread house.
Visit the Land of Lights in Santa Claus, IN.
I can't believe we only have two more to complete before the Big day! Doing it this way, really makes the days fly by, but I love it!
