Last night, we had virtual visitors via Skype. Grammy and Papaw are visiting Aunt Victoria and her family and haven't been able to see Sydney, so we brought in the computer and voila they were instantly here. It was just what Sydney needed.

Little trouper
Sydney is still hanging in there. . .enjoying some of the "perks" of being in the hospital. She loves the food and says it is like being in a restaurant. She loves that she can ask for a popsicle, jello, sprite, etc. and a nurse will bring it to her. She loves the treats that have been sent to her from family and friends to lift her spirits. As long as the nurses don't try to take blood, unwrap her bandage, or have her put her foot down as she walks with a walker, all is well with Miss Rose. The doctor wants to check out the incision around noon today and get another round of antibiotics in her before we leave. We are hoping sometime this evening to get to go home.

So glad to hear Sydney is recovering nicely. My kiddos love Skype-ing too! It's a great way to stay in touch with their cousin/aunt/uncle 900 miles away!
Praying for a great transition back home for all of you.
