Cool Chicas

What an amazing day~Praise the Lord! We took full advantage of the 80 degree temps, spending our entire day outside. Just look at these cool chicas rockin their shades and workin on their tans.

We've actually been home all week on spring break. Lots of time to catch up on laundry and keep the house in order. Yesterday, we took a break from cleaning and laundry to get pedicures. A first for both Sydney and Addison. Each truly loved the experience. They can't stop talking about how fun it was to put their feet in the water and get their toes painted. Their personalities really shined when they picked their color-Addison picked a lovely shade of PINK, her favorite color and Sydney debated between different shades of blue but ultimately decided on the HOTTEST shade of pink they had in the salon.

We kicked off our spring break with a trip to Indy for the basketball state finals. To say the girls love staying in a hotel would be an understatement. Addison especially couldn't wait to go to the "totel."

During the morning session of the state finals, Tim and I rooted for the Vikings. Unfortunately, the team lost.

Then for the night session, we cheered on the Hatchets as they brought home a state championship!! What an awesome game!

Though winning a state championship is pretty exciting, to a 5 1/2 year old it's not half as exciting as losing your first tooth! My little baby is now bigger than ever and has a new smile. Said tooth had been loose for weeks, and finally surrendered last Sunday night.

I can't believe our week is coming to an end so quickly.
