A Year in Review

A collage of 2009

Wow! What a year it has been.

Here's how it all breaks down:

January-We started the year with the Knepp's at their New Year's party, then headed to Indy for a little fun at the Children's Museum.

February-Hooked a sled to the back of Papaw's new 4-wheeler and had a little fun in the snow. This was a first for Sydney. Addison was finally relieved of her ear troubles when she had tubes put in.

March-We went to Cincinnati for Spring Break. Stayed in a "Fancy Nancy" hotel, went to the Creation Museum, and the zoo.

April-Celebrated Easter. Enjoyed a visit from sweet Elaina.

May-Went to French Lick for Mother's Day. The girls' tennis season came to an end.

June-Tim turned 30, and we witnessed Elaina's dedication to the Lord in Durham.

July-Celebrated 7 years of marriage with my honey at the Huber Winery and Orchard. During Vacation Bible School, I worked in the kitchen, Tim taught a class, and Sydney had lots of fun learning about Jesus and playing with her buddies.

August-Went camping and purchased land.

September-Sydney celebrated her 5th birthday and we attended my cousin's wedding (or at least we tried - got lost trying to find the location and missed the ceremony).

October-The girls picked pumpkins at the Huber Winery and Orchard pumpkin patch. Tim and I scored free tickets to a St. Louis Cardinal play-off game.

November-Grandpa Wade passed away on Addison's 2nd birthday. A very sad, and difficult month for our family.

December-Enjoyed lots of Christmas festivities and appreciated the time off to spend with our family.

Well, that's it in a nutshell. It was fun to look back-a nice reminder to appreciate every little moment because it goes so fast!!
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Psalm 107:1
