After our little family celebration at home, we headed to my mom and dad's for brunch. We ate a delicious meal, visited with my grandparents, uncle, aunt, and cousin, opened gifts, and watched movies on the Hallmark channel (my favorite).
The girls enjoyed playing with their cousin Elaina ALL day. Getting them to stop playing and pose for a picture was a bit of a challenge. = ) They are wearing their new outfits from Grammy and Papaw. Addison just loves her twirl dress. After opening it, she had to put it on right away.
Capturing a family pose pre-opening gifts was more successful.
A couple of special gifts this year from Grammy and Papaw: a bike for Sydney and a cozy coupe car for Addison. Sydney is so excited to have a new bike-she had definitely outgrown her old one. Over break, we bundled the girls up and let them take their new vehicles for a quick spin outside. It was sooo cold-we may have to limit our riding to the garage until the weather gets warmer.
