Birthday Wrap-up

We finished Sydney's birthday celebration 2 weeks ago, but I still wanted to document the remainder of our fun. The day after her Fancy Nancy party, we celebrated more birthdays with Sydney's best friend and birthday buddy Braylee and her sister Brynna. They had a princess party complete with pony rides; which, Addison simply adored. To see pictures follow this link.

On her actual birthday, Tim made her a pancake in the shape of a number 5 for breakfast, and then we gave her our gift-a new outfit and Leapster game.

The girls and I spent the rest of the day with Tera, Braylee, and Brynna. Sydney and Braylee had special birthday portraits taken. For lunch, we ate one of Sydney's favorite foods-Mexican. The girls were serenaded with birthday wishes and given a large chocolate sundae .

That evening, we went out again, but with Grammy, Papaw, and Daddy this time. We went to Applebees', and once again she was given a large sundae. A little too much for one day if you ask me. ; )

The following weekend, Uncle Jordan was in town and he brought Sydney a very special big girl gift. . .pink roller blades. Unfortunately, they did not come with knee pads or elbow pads. = ) Uncle J. enjoyed the opportunity to teach her something brand new. Though, he's getting a phone call when she has her first major fall. ; )

Well, that's it. The birthday party is officially over, and now we are settling into a new phase of our lives-having a beautiful, smart, and sassy 5 year old in the house.
