This past Wednesday, the tennis team advanced in tournament play with a win in the regional. Then on Saturday, the girls were victorious once again as they won the semi-state!! We are very excited to be heading to the state tournament this Saturday.
We are so proud of our coach!!
After semi-state, the girls dumped a jug of ice water on the coach.
Unfortunately, Sydney was standing to close to daddy at the time.
Worms
For a long time now, Sydney has had a fascination with finding worms. Almost everyday, she tells me she was looking for worms on the playground at daycare with her friends. Though, if you would actually show her a worm, she would get squeamish and act "girly." But now, since Grammy has shown her how to pick them up, she isn't so girly.
Showing off her latest find.
Green Beans
While Sydney is out finding worms, Addison is trying new foods. I introduced green beans to her earlier this week and she wasn't that impressed. Later in the week, bananas were introduced and we had the same results ~ she would take a couple of bites and act like she might be interested, but soon after, turn away. Today, two new things were introduced: carrots and a sippy cup of water. It turns out that she LOVES both ~ she nearly attacked the sippy cup and ate 1/2 a container of carrots. Yeah!!
With green beans on her face, and smiling like she loves it.
Looks like a pro!
