Happy Easter

On Sunday, our family had a wonderful time celebrating Easter. In the morning, the girls found the Easter Bunny had left baskets full of goodies.

Sydney's basket included a Bible, outfit, butterfly necklace, hair clips, stickers, and chocolate. Addison's basket had a Bible, outfit, butterfly rattle, and a little chick.

After a few family pictures, it was off to church where Sydney participated in a children's program. She did a great job of staying in her place and singing the songs-as I've said before, she LOVES to perform.

For lunch, we headed to Mamaw and Papaw-Great Lengacher's. Then it was on to Grammy and Papaw's for an Easter egg hunt. The weather however was uncooperative and unpredictable (and I forgot Sydney's coat) so the egg hunt was moved indoors. As space to hide the eggs was limited, Sydney found all of the eggs in a very short amount of time. It will be interesting to see how it plays out next year when she finally has someone to compete with. At the end of the day, Sydney was soo exhausted that she fell asleep in Papaw's arms. (That never happens!) What an Awesome day!!
