June 2011

On June 1st, Sydney finished up her last day of Kindergarten.  The last day was Field day; an opportunity for the kids to celebrate their accomplishments and hard work for the year.

                                                  First day                               Last day

Over the course of a year, Sydney grew 1" and gained 4lbs.  Sydney loved ALL aspects of Kindergarten!  She made lots of new friends and loved being a class helper.  She improved her reading skills by a great deal and writes the funniest stories.
After school was over, Grammy and I took the girls to Evansville for a little fun. We ate and played a few games at Gatti's; then, it was on to do a little last minute shopping for my cousin Olivia's graduation party.

The rest of the month was spent celebrating birthdays, Father's day and a wedding, attending camps, visiting the Creation museum, cheering on the #1 doubles at State, clearing land for new home and watching the queen contest at the county fair.

The girls are very proud of their Daddy and love spending time with our "tennis family."

The fam boogies all night long at cousin Robert's wedding~well, until Sydney got her foot stepped on by high heel shoe.  Ouch!

Daddy and Addison at Creation Museum.  Addison was out dancing the night before and not in the mood for a picture. ; )

Thanks to Papaw Jim, Papaw Mervin and Daddy for clearing the way for our new home.

Happy Birthday and Happy Father's Day to our favorite guy!!

Sydney sports some "wacky" hair for Camp Invention.  She found my old crimper and couldn't wait for me to use it on her.
Sydney shows off her inventions at Camp.
This is a model of the swings at Holiday World.
So proud of our little "inventor."  She still talks about the fun she had at this camp and continually asks if we have things she can take apart and create something new.

I did the 1st/last day pics of B too! I can't believe how much they changed this year- how much more grown up they look on the last day!

Congratulations on your new home :)
