Master's Degree

Almost 2 1/2 years ago, Tim and I enrolled in a Master's program through Walden University. It is an online degree program which allows us to work from the comfort of our home. During the first year, we only completed 3 courses. Then on January 2, 2007, we decided to truly dedicate ourselves to completing our degrees, and we have been working hard ever since. Nearly every Sunday this past year has been devoted to working on homework. It has become so much a part of our lives that Sydney will sit down at the computer and tell us she is writing a post or working on her homework. = ) Though, today we had the day off as we are getting ready to start our LAST course in the Master's program. We only have 8 weeks left! It seems strange to think about what our Sunday afternoons will be like once we are done.

Today in church, Sydney was practicing her writing skills. During the service, I was in the nursery with Addison, so Sydney colored me a picture and wrote the word Mom. She also attempted to write Sydney and Dad.
